Police Investigate Newark East Ward Armed Robberies

Police are looking for two suspects who are wanted for at least two armed robberies that occurred in the city's East Ward on Friday morning.

According to reports, the incidents happened in the 40's block of Euclid Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. where officers arrived at the scene to find the victim who reported that two black male suspects, who were wearing hoodies, exited a 4-door vehicle and produced a silver gun then demanded personal possessions.

The men took several items before fleeing in a vehicle that was driven by a woman.

In another incident, police responded to 100 blocks of Fleming Avenue for reports of an armed robbery in progress.

Upon officer's arrival, police located the victim who reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black males who were wearing all black and armed with a handgun.

There were no physical injuries reported in either incident.
