A late night carjacking that occurred in a Newark neighborhood is under investigation by police.
The incident was reported to police shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the area of Clinton Avenue and South 12th Street according to reports.
Two black males suspects who reportedly wore dark clothing approached the driver of a green 2017 Jaguar and demanded the vehicle.
The men entered the vehicle then sped away towards Clinton Avenue reports said.
The car has a reported NJ license plate number "E79-HNB."
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries.
