Two people were transported to Jersey City Medical Center after they suffered stab wounds at a location in Jersey City on Sunday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 60's block to investigate reports of two people bleeding at that location at approximately 7 p.m.
Upon their arrival, officers found one person suffering a stab wound to the chest and a second unidentified person slashed to the back of the head.
Doctors treated both victims for severe injuries.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation. Police have reported no arrests.
