Trenton Police officials are looking into a double shooting incident that took place in the city on Tuesday evening.
The situation began around 7:20 p.m. when officers were called to the area of 27 Sanhican Drive after receiving reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, police units discovered shell casings at the scene, but initially, no victims were found.
The investigation took a turn when officials at the regional medical center contacted the police, reporting that two individuals had arrived at the emergency department with gunshot wounds.
Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victims were not deemed life-threatening.
Police are now actively investigating the motive behind this shooting, piecing together the events that led to the incident.
As of now, no arrests have been officially reported.
