Authorities in Newark's East Ward are on the search for several suspect that committed an armed robbery in the 500 block of Market Street early this morning.
The suspects were only described as three black males accompanied by two females, robbed a person of a cell phone shortly before 9:30 a.m. then fled in a small green 4-door green vehicle. The suspect did produce a weapon according to the victim.
Police reportedly found the phone in the area of Monroe and Market Street.
No injuries were reported.
