Authorities in Springfield are investigating a report of an attempted luring at a school bus stop.
According to preliminary reports, a student of Florence M. Gaudineer Middle School was at the bus stop waiting for the bus when a man in a white SUV stopped to ask if he needed a ride. The student said no, and the man pulled away.
According to reports, the suspect was only described as an older man. The incident was immediately reported to police by school officials.
