Authorities in Paterson are searching for two suspects following an attempted burglary late Wednesday night.
Shortly before 10 p.m., officers were dispatched to an address in the 200 block of Carroll Street after receiving reports of a burglary in progress.
When police arrived, they learned that two males had reportedly entered the property and kicked in the front door before fleeing the scene.
It was not immediately clear whether the suspects were able to make entry into the residence.
Officers canvassed the surrounding area for the individuals, but no arrests were reported.
The incident remains under active investigation by the Paterson Police Department. Anyone with information is urged to contact authorities.
