Jersey City Police are investigating an armed robbery reported in a section of the city Sunday morning.
Police said the incident was reported around 2:20 a.m. near 8 Holmes Avenue.
According to police, the suspect approached the victim named with a gun and demanded personal possessions.
Police say the victim handed over a cell phone before fleeing the scene on foot.
There were no physical injuries reported.
