Late night shots fired incident that occurred in a Newark neighborhood has police searching for the suspects who fired off the rounds.
There were no injuries immediately reported fo the shooting that happened before 10 p.m. in the vicinity of 422 15th Avenue.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to several ShotsSpotter activations in the area, and upon their arrival, they found just under a dozen shell casings.
A search of the area for possible suspects came back negative.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
