Police Car Crash in Newark's Ironbound Section Under Investigation
There were no injuries reported in a crash that involved a police car in Newark's Ironbound section on Friday night.
According to Newark Police officials, officers were attempting a motor vehicle stop with their lights and siren activated in the vicinity of Walnut and Pulaski Street just before 10 p.m.
Officials said as their police cruiser traveled through the intersection, it was struck by a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
There were no serious injuries reported.
