A physical altercation that broke out inside a mall in Elizabeth had authorities on the scene over the weekend.
The dispute was reported on Saturday at around 2 p.m. when a verbal dispute between two males ultimately escalated into a physical confrontation that occurred near the Starbucks .
The altercation had police and mall security quickly dispatched to the scene.
Arriving police officers were able to separate the men then escort them off of the property reports said.
There were no immediate reports of physical injuries or disruptions to regular business in the mall.
The incident is under investigation.
