Witnesses notified police when they reportedly observed a knife-wielding man attack another man near a 7-Eleven store in Jersey City Wednesday afternoon.
According to a preliminary investigation, the attack was reported around 3:50 p.m. near 32 Sip Avenue.
Police canvassed the area and found the victim in the vicinity of Summit and Pavonia avenues suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the suspect was captured and charged with assault for stabbing the victims.
The motive for the incident is under investigation.
