Police in Newark Arrest Six Men on Outstanding Warrants

Police have arrested six men wanted on outstanding warrants as part of a warrant operation conducted between August 10th and yesterday.

Officials say they arrested and charged the following individuals:

Lance Sally, 21, of Bloomfield

Joseph Ostendorf, 29, of Kearny

Kenneth L. Newton, 40, of Newark

Carmen H. Castellano, 46, of Newark

Eric D. Martin (not pictured), 30, of Newark

Leonard King, 48, of Newark

Police also charged King with CDS Possession, two counts of CDS Distribution and two counts of CDS Distribution within 1,000-ft. of a School.

Also arrested as part of this operation is Larry Bouie, 43, of Paterson, who is charged with Evidence Tampering and Wandering to Obtain or Sell CDS.

These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Metro Division is stationed in the downtown area of Newark which encompasses Newark's main business thoroughfare, Prudential Center Arena, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Symphony Hall and Riverfront Stadium.
