Police Arrest Roselle Man for Attacking NJ Transit Conductor in Secaucus

New Jersey Transit Police effect arrest for aggravated assault against an NJ TRANSIT train conductor.

During the early morning hours of Wednesday, August 18th NJTPD officers responded to a report of a conductor assaulted at Secaucus Junction Station.

The officers apprehended a subject Jyshae Wiley, 25, Roselle in the face with a closed fist. This subject now faces multiple charges including Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest.

Please remember: NJ TRANSIT bus operators and train crews are protected employees under the laws of the State of New Jersey. Any assault upon them carries a prison term of up to 5 years and fines of up to $15,000 dollars.
