Police Arrest Pennsylvania Man For Murder in Atlantic City

Atlantic City Officials are cooperatively investigating the death of a man in Atlantic City, NJ.

Atlantic City Officials say on September 23, 2022, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a hotel room within the Ocean Casino Resort for an unresponsive male.

According to officials the man, later identified as Brian Wilkinson, 47, of Egg Harbor Township, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office completed an autopsy of the victim and determined the cause of death as stab wounds and the manner of death was deemed a homicide.

The investigation has resulted in the arrest of Andrew James Osborne, 34, of Philadelphia, PA for Murder (2C:11-3a) and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (2C:39-4d).

Osborne was taken into custody in Philadelphia and is currently being held in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition.

This continues to be an active and cooperative investigation between the ACPO Major Crimes Unit, the Atlantic City Police Department, and Philadelphia Police.
