Jersey City Police took one person into custody for a burglary at a liquor store overnight.
According to police, at approximately 1:50 a.m., they were alerted to a commercial burglary at 321 NJ-440 (Liquor City).
Police officers arrived at the scene found that the store had been burglarized and that a cart that had been filled with several brands of alcohol was in the area of the store.
Officers canvassing the area detained a suspect who they believe committed the burglary.
The incident remains under investigation.
