Authorities are reporting that members of the Fugitive Apprehension Team arrested **Martin A. Bennet, 24, of East Orange**, for a robbery that occurred on Dec. 26, 2016.
Police responded to a residence on the 100 block of Littleton Avenue on a robbery call at approximately 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victims, a male and female, who were reportedly robbed inside their home after allowing a visitor to enter.
The suspect left the door open after he came in and a second suspect entered. The victims were robbed of their cash and personal items.
With a warrant for the arrest of Martin A. Bennet detectives took him into custody today in the area of North 6th Street and Sussex Avenue.
Bennet was charged with robbery.
These are mere accusations lodge against Bennet.
He is considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
