Police Apprehend Female Suspects for Robbing 67-Year-Old Woman in Newark

Newark Police have arrested Aliyah T. Napier, 19, and Chelsea Fulton, 21, both of Newark, on Monday evening in connection with a robbery in the area of Treat Place and William Street.

According to police, at approximately 6:30 p.m., police responded to a call of a robbery in the area of Broad and William Streets.

A 67-year-old female victim reported that the two suspects had robbed her of her money and personal property police said.

After canvassing the area, officers located the two suspects and arrested them without incident.

The victim’s cash and property were returned to her.

Both Napier and Fulton are charged with Robbery and Conspiracy.

These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
