NEWARK NJ: An early morning burglary in progress that occurred in a community in Newark had cops take one person into custody.
The incident was reported in the 300 block of North 7th Street at around 4:15 a.m. where police were called to the scene after receiving reports of a burglary in progress.
Arriving units reportedly found the suspect in the act of burglarizing a residence.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident.
A crime scene was established where authorities continued to investigate.
