Pleasantville Man Charged with Endangering the Welfare of Children

Pleasantville New Jersey

A 52-year-old Pleasantville man was arrested yesterday in possession of child pornography, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced today.

As a result of a 5-month-long investigation by the Northfield office of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force, detectives executed a search warrant yesterday, March 16, 2015, at approximately 1:30 p.m., at the residence of Kenneth Kline, 52, at Martin Luther King Avenue, Pleasantville.

Detectives arrested Kline at his home, charged him with Endangering the Welfare of Children—a 3rd degree crime—for possessing pictures and videos of prepubescent children with their intimate parts exposed, and seized electronic evidence.

The Pleasantville Police Department assisted the Task Force in the investigation. Kline was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $200,000 full cash bail set by Pleasantville Municipal Court Judge Richard T. Fauntleroy.

Kline also faces additional Federal charges, as a result of the ongoing investigation.
