Good morning, Jersey! We’re in for a great weather day across Newark and the North Jersey region as we start with some clouds before welcoming some peeks of sunshine throughout the day.
Happy Wednesday! This week is rolling right along, and we’re waking up to comfortable conditions. It is currently 63 degrees in downtown Newark, with temperatures expected to climb into the mid-70s this afternoon.
Around New Jersey, Montville is starting at 58 degrees, while portions of Sussex County are waking up near 51. Trenton is at 59 degrees, Toms River is at 57, and temperatures in Passaic County are around 62.
Overall, it’s a nice morning across the region.
We’ll have a mixture of sunshine and clouds today, but those periods of sun should make it feel pretty good outside — almost like a spring day as temperatures rise through the afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service, skies will be mostly sunny today with a high near 76. Calm winds will become southwest at around 5 mph during the afternoon.
Tonight will turn mostly cloudy, with a low around 63 and southwest winds of 3 to 5 mph.
