An early Thursday afternoon robbery that occurred in Plainfield has police investigating.
According to a preliminary report, shortly before 12:05 p.m., officers responded to the area of West 2nd Street near New Street after receiving a report of an armed robbery at that location.
Officers arrived to find the victim who reported being robber via of strong-armed by a suspect shortly before police arrived.
Police said there were no weapons used and no injuries reported by the victim.
