Plainfield Police to Enforce Governor Murphy’s Stay at Home Order

Plainfield

The Department of Public Affairs and Safety and the Division of Health are working extremely hard to protect the health and welfare of our Community.

All Plainfield residents are asked to be mindful of the current State of Emergency due to COVID-19 and "The STAY AT HOME ORDER" issued by Governor Phil Murphy.

Only essential personnel or those conducting essential business should be out. Everyone else is asked to stay home and honor this order.

Executive Order #107 was put in place to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

The Plainfield Police Department will be actively reinforcing this Stay at Home Order and we ask that all residents adhere to these guidelines. This is meant to ensure the safety of our community during this challenging time.

If you must go out for an essential purpose, please remember to practice social distancing by staying at least six feet from one another.

Your Health and Safety is our number one priority.
