Plainfield Murder Suspect, Alleged MS-13 Gang Murderer Arrested by the FBI

A man wanted by the FBI and listed on the law enforcements' list of most wanted in America has been captured.

According to the FBI, Mr. Walter Yovany Gomez, one was captured in Virginia.

Mr. Gomez was wanted in connection with a brutal homicide that authorities believe that was allegedly an initiation for the MS-13 gang.

Authorities indicted Mr. Gomez about four years ago for the murder authorities said.

Police arrested Mr. Gomez without incident and turned him over to the FBI authorities said.

Authorities say Mr. Gomez and another man murdered a fellow gang member, Julio Matute, inside a home in 2011.

Mr. Gomez and the co-conspirator allegedly struck Matute in the head with a baseball bat, sliced his throat, and stabbed him in the back 17 times with a screwdriver, apparently because Matute was suspected of socializing with a rival gang.

The co-conspirator was subsequently apprehended, charged and found guilty for the Matute homicide.
