According to Piscataway authorities, Jibreel Elliott, 31, of Plainfield, has been identified as the victim of the homicide on September 5, at approximately 4:02 A.M.
Police say they received a 911 call reporting that Elliott was found inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Piscataway Police Department responded to the area of Aspen Court.
Upon their arrival, officers located Elliott, who sustained gunshot wounds.
Elliott was found in his vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds and transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
This is an active and ongoing homicide investigation.
