Phillipsburg

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns, III, announced the indictment of Kenneth B. Thompson, 59, and Feleisha Francillon, 28, both of Phillipsburg, NJ.

Officials say on June 7th, Thompson and Francillon were indicted by a Hunterdon County Grand Jury for one count of 2nd degree Sexual Assault and one count of 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to Prosecutor Kearns, “On April 24, 2018, Thompson and Francillon were arrested at their residence and charged with 2nd degree Sexual Assault and 3rd degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. An investigation by detectives from the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the New Jersey State Police Perryville Barracks revealed Mr. Thompson and Ms. Francillon engaged in sex acts with a child under the age of 16. The crimes occurred in Union Township.”

An indictment is merely a step in the criminal justice process. The defendant is presumed innocent until the matter is resolved in a court of law.
