Emergency responders are on the scene for a man struck by a NJ Transit Train just north of the Richard Street Station at this time.
The incident happened shortly after 9 a.m. where police and EMS found the victim unconscious and unresponsive according to reports.
Thema was pronounced dead from his injuries.
There were no injuries reported on the train.
The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Service is suspended in both directions between Liberty State Park and Danforth Avenue.
