Police in Jersey City reported non-fatal injuries for a person found stabbed in a section of the city Monday night.
Officers responded to reports of an injured person in the 400 block of Claremont Avenue around 10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police notified EMS to report to the scene for a person suffering a stab wound.
The injured received medical attention and is expected to survive.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the aggravated assault.
No other injuries were reported.
