Police in Jersey City are investigating a slashing incident that injured a person at a location in the city Sunday night.
Authorities say it happened at approximately 10:55 p.m. in the 40's block of Bostwick Avenue.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center suffering multiple non-life threatening slash wounds.
Jersey City Police detained one person for questioning, but they are not officially calling the person a suspect at this time.
The motive for the slashing is under investigation.
