A person found dead inside a bathroom at a White Castle restaurant in Elizabeth has police investigating.
Police responded to the restaurant that's located in the 600 block of Westfield Avenue at around midnight after receiving reports of an injured person at that location.
Upon emergency responders' arrival, police found an unconscious and unresponsive person according to reports.
The victim was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are not reporting foul play in the incident and believe that this was a medical emergency.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
