Paterson Major Crimes units responded to an incident where a person was found dead on a street in Paterson on Wednesday evening.
According to authorities, police were called to investigate reports of an injured person in the 300 block of Broadway shortly before 11 p.m.
Upon their arrival, detectives found an unconscious, unresponsive and unidentified person laying on the cold sidewalk at that location.
Police are attempting to determine if the person died from a medical condition according to reports.
There were no immediate reports of foul play and the incident remains under investigation.
