Police are looking into the circumstances behind the death of a person found at a former housing development in Newark early Saturday morning.
According to reports, police ordered a crime scene unit to the 100 block of Seth Boyden Terrace before 5:25 a.m. to assist in the investigation after they found the body of an unidentified person inside one of the buildings.
There were no immediate reports of foul play and the investigation is active and ongoing.
Officials say it appears that the victim died of a drug overdose.
