Transit train service was suspended between Elizabeth and North Elizabeth station tonight after a person was struck by a train.
The trespasser, who was not identified, was struck and killed in the area of Grove and Fay shortly before 7:30 p.m.
No one aboard the train was injured.
According to initial reports, service was suspended between Elizabeth and North Elizabeth stations but has since been restored. Rail service is subject to about 2 hours of delays.
