EAST RUTHERFORD NJ: Police closed off a portion of the westbound lanes of Rt. 3 near the NJ-120 split after a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle caused serious injuries.
Police and EMS arrived to the scene at around 12:45 a.m. where they found the victim suffering a head injury after being struck by the vehicle that stayed at the scene according to reports.
The victim's injuries were not reported as life threatening.
Police are investigating.
