EMS transported a male pedestrian, who suffered injuries after a vehicle struck him, to University Hospital overnight.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at around midnight on Route 21 at South Street sending rescue crews and EMS to the scene where they found the victim suffering unspecified injuries.
The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
The identity of the victim was not released.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
