Police arrived on the scene of a pedestrian strike that injured a person in the city's North Ward Wednesday evening.
It happened around 9:20 p.m. on Franklin Avenue and North 6th Street.
According to police, the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital after a vehicle struck them at that location.
Newark Police are investigating the incident and no other injuries were reported.
