There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a person struck by a car in Newark Thursday evening.
Police about EMS were called to the vicinity of 14th Avenue and Jones Street after they received calls for a person struck by vehicle at approximately 7:20 p.m.
Upon their arrival, they found the victim who reported serious pain at that location. The victim was taken to University Hospital for treatment according to reports.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene according to reports.
