Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle on NJ-129 in Trenton


The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a pedestrian strike that killed a person in Trenton Sunday. 

According to a preliminary investigation, police rushed to the intersection of NJ-129 near Lalor Street to investigate reports of a person down shortly before 6:30 p.m. 

Upon arrival, police found a severely injured, unidentified person lying in the roadway at that location. 

According to police, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene after firefighters extricated them from under the vehicle. 

The incident remains under investigation.
