Authorities are investigating pedestrian strike that left one person injured in North Arlington on Tuesday evening.
Police and EMS were called to the vicinity of 222 Ridge Road to investigate reports of a pedestrian down at that location.
When emergency responders arrived, they found the unidentified victim suffering serious injuries after a car struck them according to reports.
EMS rushed the victim to a trauma hospital in the region, where doctors listed them in critical condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
