EMS transported an injured person to an area hospital after a car struck the victim near the Kean University campus this evening.
It happened at around 9:35 p.m. near the intersection of Morris and North avenues where emergency responders arrived to find the injured person in need of medical attention.
The car that struck the victim reportedly stayed at the scene.
The victim’s injuries are being reported as non-life threatening at this time.
Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
