There were severe injuries reported for a pedestrian struck by a car in Jersey City on Sunday night.
According to police, the incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Bowers Street and Central Avenue.
Police say the victim -in his 40's- was struck by a car while attempting to cross near the intersection.
EMS rushed the victim to Jersey City Medical Center, where doctors began treating serious injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
