EMS transported a person suffering injuries to Jersey City Medical Center after a vehicle struck the victim at a location in the city on Sunday morning.
The incident happened in near the vicinity of JFK Boulevard and Carlton Avenue at approximately 1:15 a.m. where emergency responders were informed of a pedestrian strike with injuries.
The driver of the vehice reportedly stayed at the scene.
The Jersey City Police Departemnt were on the scene handling the investiation.
