There were minor injuries reported of the victim struck by an ambulance in Newark on Wednesday evening.
According to reports, the incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. in the vicinity of South 10th Street and Central Avenue where an ambulance struck the victim causing non-life threatening injuries.
Police and a supervisor for the ambulance company were called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
