Police temporarily closed all NJ-38 to investigate a pedestrian strike with fatal injuries in Mount Laurel Township Saturday.
The late-night incident happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes just at the Route 295 ramp.
Police arrived and found a severely injured person lying in the roadway after a vehicle struck them at that location.
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
