Authorities in Camden County are investgiating a double pedestrian strike that killed one person in Sicklerville on Sunday night.
According to a statement released by Winslow Township police, two adult pedestrians were crossing Cross Keys Road at the intersection of Wilby Road when they were struck by a vehicle traveling Northbound on Cross Keys Road at around 7 p.m.
Police say both pedestrians were transported to Cooper Hospital via helicopters suffering severe injuries. One of the victims was pronounced dead by doctors, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and was not injured.
The name of the victim is being withheld until families are notified, according to police.
