Pedestrian Killed by Car on NJ-73 in Maple Shade

A pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after a vehicle struck them on a highway in Burlington County Sunday morning. 

Police said the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. in the 2800 block of NJ-37. 

Emergency responders rushed to the scene after being dispatched to the location and when they arrived, police and EMS found the unidentified victim severely injured at that location. 

Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead a short time later. 

Police closed all landed on NJ-73 to conduct the crash investigation. 

There were no other injuries reported.
