Authorities are investigating a serious pedestrian crash early Sunday morning in Bergen County.
Emergency crews responded shortly before 1 a.m. to the area of Central Avenue and 2nd Street in Hackensack after receiving reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
According to preliminary reports from the scene, the victim was found in traumatic arrest, prompting police to request the county’s fatal accident investigation team.
The victim’s condition has not been officially confirmed by authorities, and additional circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
