Authorities in Mercer County are searching for a psychiatric patient who left a hospital in Trenton Sunday night.
According to officials, Ewing Police was notified by NJ Human Services Police that a male walked away from Trenton Psychiatric Hospital (TPH).
Officials say an investigation revealed that Mr. Brian Thorne, 48, is a black male, partially bald, approximately 6'1" 176 pounds.
Police say Thorne was last seen wearing a black jacket, black hat, black sweatpants and black shoes.
He walked away from the facility at approximately 8:30 p.m. and was at the psychiatric center on a non-criminal hold.
Human Services Police have entered Thorne into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing person.
Police said Thorne has ties to Essex County. If you see Brian Thorne, please do not approach him and call 9-1-1.
