The Exchange Place and World Trade Center PATH stations will close this weekend as the Port Authority begins 16 consecutive weekends of station closures for federally-mandated safety upgrades.
The following is information sent by Port Authority officials regarding the closures:
**Newark – World Trade Center (NWK-WTC)**
There is no service between Journal Square and World Trade Center (Exchange Place and World Trade Center stations are closed).
Passengers traveling to Grove St. must transfer at Journal Square for the JSQ-33 (via HOB) line.
Passengers traveling to Exchange Place must transfer at Journal Square for the JSQ-33 (via HOB) line to Newport where they will be cross-honored for the Hudson Bergen Light Rail.
Journal Square – 33rd Street (JSQ-33 via HOB)
No planned service changes. Service operates on a regular Saturday schedule.
