Paterson Third Coronavirus Patient is 5-Year-Old Boy

Paterson city officials have confirmed that a five-year-old child has tested positive Coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the city to three.

According to officials, the child's 40-year-old father works in Teaneck, likely contracted the virus from Bergen County then passed it along to his wife, who is around 30-years old.

Paterson health officials are monitoring the family, which has been quarantined at their home. Official stay a second child is also being tested for the Coronavirus.

The children do not attend Paterson Public Schools or any schools in the city.
